Owner and winemaker Stéphane Vedeaux is a shooting star of the Rhône Valley and his 50ha of vineyards, mainly planted to old vines, are spread far and wide. He is rightly famous for his Southern Rhône wines from La Ferme du Mont but he also owns several choice vineyard spots from the legendary appellations of the Northern Rhône. With low yielding vines, many more than 40+ years, he is able to craft intense, yet elegant syrah that he has named after his mother, Jeannine Boutin. The Boutin wines are concentrated, pure and beautifully detailed.

    Vintage Description:

Blackberries, cassis and black olives appear on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, intensse and powerful, yet still supple, with a gentle dusting of soft tannins on the long finish. (Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 5/2021)

    Details zur Herkunft:

Biologisch-dynamische Produktionsweise auf den Grundlagen von Rudolf Steiner unter ganzheitlicher Betrachtung des Betriebes (Mensch, Tier, Pflanze). Biologisch-dynamisch:
