The history of the Frescobaldi winery dates back to the Middle Ages, making it one of the most historic, important, and renowned wineries in Italy and around the world. The Frescobaldi family settled in Florence in the 13th century, quickly becoming a prestigious merchant with economic, political, and cultural influences on the city, and simultaneously establishing itself as one of the leading wine-producing companies in Tuscany. Today, after 700 years and 30 generations, they boast a total of 1200 hectares of vineyards spread across prestigious estates with historic residences and ancient castles, encapsulating the glorious history of the greatest Tuscan wines, such as Chianti Classico, Brunello, and Rosso di Montalcino. The winery's ability is to highlight for each wine the diversity and uniqueness of the Tuscan terrain, always with respect for the environment and in a sustainable manner. The Frescobaldi family's wines are an expression of ancient traditions that have been consolidated over centuries and renewed generation after generation, always maintaining a high level of quality.
