    Cabernet Sauvignon is an international grape variety which features excellent result also in Burgenland. Generally combined with Merlot and Cabernet Franc in cuvées, Burgenland’s winegrowers take the chance to produce pure varietal Cabernets. Dark ruby color with an intensive violet hue, the nose explodes with cassis and toasty aromas, underpinned with spicy nuances. Still young on the palate, firm tannin structure, spicy texture and lingering finish. Great ageing potential.
