Details

The fifth generation Quinta is located between Pinhao and Covas do Douro, on the right bank of the Douro. The steep vineyards are partly up to 250m high and all slope towards the Douro. They belong to the top vineyards (classification A) of the region. Some vines are already over 80 years old. The extensive, internationally award-winning range includes Douro DOC wines and a wide variety of ports from Fine Tawny Ports to vintage rarities over 40 years old. Modern technology but also restrictive hand harvesting, long storage in the best wooden barrels and the classic grape stomping (Pisar Uva) are integral parts of the Quinta.
