Château Lapelletrie

Details

In the beautiful and world-renowned wine region of Saint-Emilion, the Lapelletrie estate extends over 16 hectares. The château, which has existed since the early 1800s, was taken over by the Biscaye family in 1930. The seventh generation of a winemaking family is passionate and stubborn. He has developed real estate and a large business. He was also mayor of the commune for 20 years. Today, his granddaughter Anne Biscaye runs the estate. She makes a wine that is the reflection of Saint-Emilion's terroir. She is committed to a voluntary performance approach, to protecting the environment while maintaining a qualitative requirement. "No solum (never alone) because a wine is not made by itself, it is the result of team work throughout the year in synergy with our surrounding environment. No solum because we share wine with our family, our friends, accompanied with the simplest to the most elaborate dishes." - Anne Biscaye
