Haut Marbuzet is a vineyard bought in 1952 by Hervé Dubosq and today run by his son Henri. For years it lay in a kind of deep sleep. But Henri has managed just in recent years that since 2020 Haut Marbuzet is once again on a par with Lafon Rochet, Phelan Segur and Capbern. Henri Duboscq is an active person and an energetic winemaker who delights millions of wine lovers with his wines. He has put a lot of patience and pragmatism into forming the 70-hectare Graves gravel-covered domain, which sits on chalky soil and overlooks the river. The ideal location thus combines with invaluable talent. The result is a first-class, massive, solid and well-structured Saint-Estèphe, which has undergone a long fermentation and received its finishing touch in new oak barrels.
