Champagne Henriet-Bazin

Details

At Champagne Henriet-Bazin, our history begins perhaps 50 million years ago, when two species of shellfish, the Coccolites and the Belemnites, decided to settle in the warm sea that once blanketed our region of Champagne. Over the eons, nature and time transformed their remains into the profoundly deep layers of chalk and clay that bear our vines. Wind, water and ice carved our slopes and created our climats.
