Now in its fourth generation, the estate works daily to bring the idea of the perfect Styrian wine into every glass. Erich Polz Jr. has been leading the winery since 2020, with the vision of guiding the incredible potential and valuable know-how, rooted in his family's long winemaking tradition, into a fruitful and sustainable future. His brother Christoph is responsible for the cellar and vinification, placing great trust in every single grape. Their passion lies in meticulous craftsmanship, and their expertise is deeply rooted in the terroir of South Styria. Sustainability is a daily commitment – whether through gentle pruning, the avoidance of insecticides and glyphosates, or the ongoing transition of their vineyards to organic farming. In the words of Erich Polz Jr.: "We have been learning something new every day for over 100 years. We work with vital vines in healthy soils. We strive for balance and excellence in our wines.
