In harmony with nature, the Pasler family relies on sustainable farming practices in their vineyards. They are nestled between the Leithagebirge to the north, with its shell limestone and mica-slate soils, and Lake Neusiedl to the south, with influences from the Pannonian Plain. The family, above all the brothers Michael and Johannes Pasler, is concerned to treat nature and its conditions with respect because they are convinced that what is invested in nature in terms of meticulous attention to detail and painstaking manual work is rewarded in the form of high-quality wines. The application of natural compost and alternating greenery guarantee optimal nurturing of the vines. Targeted canopy management ensures the best conditions for the grapes in the final ripening stage. The harvest is followed by long maceration periods and spontaneous fermentation, and maturation takes place in oak barrels on the lees. During maturation, the wines are left to their own devices. The result is authentic, richly finesse wines that are absolutely captivating.
