The "Weinlaubenhof Kracher" is located in the "Seewinkel" in the Austrian Burgenland. Where, due to the evaporation on the lake, the evening fog and the warm Pannonian climate, humid-warm weather conditions prevail, the Botrytis cinerea, the basis for fantastic sweet wines such as Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese is created. From the grape varieties Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muscat Ottonel and every now and then also Zweigelt, Alois Kracher creates every year 10 to 15 different Trockenbeerenauslese in two different configuration levels. "Between the Lakes" are the wines that are aged in large wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks and have the classic style of the region. The wines of the line "Nouvelle Vague" are vinified in new barriques. They are characterized by depth, spiciness and sustainability. Gerhard Kracher now continues the winery with the same dedication and dynamism as his father. The offer of the undoubtedly most famous Austrian winery includes not only the world famous Trockenbeerenauslese but also Beerenauslese, Auslese, Eiswein and small amounts of dry white and red wine.
