« A characteristic Roederer rosé: the concentration, fruitiness, and compactness of the Cumières Pinot noir grapes are transcended by the elegance, purity, and freshness of the finest Chardonnay grapes cultivated on the Côte des Blancs. » — Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Cellar Master

Complete description
Vintage Description:
The 2012 Vintage Rosé is showing well, offering up pretty aromas of apples, freshly baked bread and tangerine. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a generous core of succulent fruit, a youthfully frothy but fine mousse, ripe acids and a precise, elegantly chalky finish. It's an elegant, textural rosé that's quite vinous for this cuvée. (William Kelley - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Apr 30, 2019)wine:

From vineyards in Cumières, where the shallow calcareous clay soil, which is on south-facing slopes bathed in the light reflected from the banks of the river Marne, enables the grapes to attain optimum phenolic maturity.Ernte:
Harvested by handVinification:
The grapes were gently pressed and the clarified musts fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. After a short aging in tank and 24% in oak barrel without malolactic fermentation, these dry base wines were blended, refined with a dosage (Liqueur de Tirage, a mixture of yeast & sugar), botteled and sealed with a crown cap.Ageing:
After re-fermentation in the bottle, matured on the lees for about 4 years. After disgorging refined with a light dosage of 9 g/l and is left for an additional period of 6 months to attain optimum maturity.Residual sugar:
