  • Complete description

    Vintage Description:

From a coolish vintage, the 2016 Pinot Noir is enormously pure, delicate and fresh on the flinty and stony, almost peppery nose that is more on the red berry side. Silky and fresh but also with tight and refreshingly spicy and cleaning tannins, this is a dry and puristic Pinot that almost tastes like a white wine, but it has the sweet charm of Pinot. With more time in the glass, this Pinot tastes almost like a traditional Barolo as well, with saline chalky notes. (Stephan Reinhart - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, March 2022)
