    Intense ruby-garnet, violet reflexes, in the nose smoky with a mineral edge; slightly leafy, wild cherry fruit, very elegant on the palate, slightly redolent of wines from the Northern Rhone area, very tight texture with great fruity sweetness in the finish.

    The name REDMONT (Rothenberg) is a synonym for the Southern slopes with their typical red gravel layers. These meagre soils produce wines of great structure, fine aromas and high longevity.

    Mid to end of September, repeatedly selected and manually harvested.

    Vinification:

    14-21 days fermentation on the skins at 30-32 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.

    18 months in French oak barriques.
